RBI issues new LCR guidelines for banks

The Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) is a regulatory standard developed by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision. It requires banks to hold a buffer of High Quality Liquid Assets (HQLA) that can cover expected net cash outflows over a 30-day stress scenario.
