Rhea is a dreamer. Being an extrovert, she loves to enjoy life to the fullest. An ardent lover of singing, dancing, and travelling, she makes sure not to waste life in gloom. After her final exams, Rhea plans a trip to all the nooks and crannies of Assam, for there would be no time once she is in Delhi pursuing her further studies. She would be busy shaping her career there.
Not unusual, she confronts love in between these plans. From good friends, Rana and Rhea have come a long way to become a lovey-dovey couple. Things are just as beautiful as they should be. Not compromising with their studies, Rhea and Rana complete their secondary level studies.
Soon, Rana gets admission in a college outside the State. Although Rhea is sad that he has to go, she suppresses her emotions for she knows Rana has his own aspirations too. She knows they will return to each other, eventually.
But, to her utter shock, when she gets admission in her dream college in Delhi, Rana forbids Rhea from moving out. She cannot believe it! Why should she listen to Rana? She has her plans laid out, she wants to fly high. Everything was discussed, all matters were set. She has to fulfill her dreams, her parents’ aspirations. Rana tries to convince her, he even threatens of breaking up with her. This leaves Rhea in sheer despair, for her love was unconditional.
The night before Rhea’s flight to her dream city, she cries her heart out. Eventually, she takes her decision. Rhea breaks all ties with Rana, the love of her life. She realises that there is no love when there is no mutual respect. Standing hand in hand while facing all hurdles is what is required in a relationship. She tells herself, “If your partner breaks your ladder, don’t stay back. Make a new one and climb up till you reach your destination.”
